Frequently Asked Questions
How much is a membership to HHC?
Part of being inclusive means being financially inclusive as well. We do not charge admission, enrollment fees, or monthly tuition. The only costs involved would be during field trips, which families may apply for field trip assistance here.
Do you hold any religious or political affiliations?
While all of our families and our administrative team have their own beliefs and affiliations, HHC as an organization holds none. We hold secular spaces, free from religion in order to ensure none of our families feel excluded by having different beliefs than those around them. We do not align with any political parties or campaigns, as we acknowledge that everyone thinks and feels differently. While our mission and policies may reflect a more liberal worldview, we want all of our families– especially our children– to feel safe to be exactly as they are. However, we do ask that any conversations regarding either religion or politics to be left out of any and all HHC spaces and engaged in only in private and between adults, unless you are speaking to your own child.
Is HHC neurodivergent friendly?
Yes! Harmony Homeschool Collective will always be welcoming and accepting to all members, including our neurodiverse families. We have sensory friendly toys and headphones available upon request. However, we are not a neurodiverse or special needs program and we do operate out of public spaces so we currently are not able to or required to accommodate all requests, but please reach out should you need additional accommodations. We will always do the best we can for all of our families to feel as comfortable and seen as possible.
What age group do you serve?
ALL! Here at HHC, we have had kids aged 3-18 before, with the majority of our kids being between 6-13. We try to host events that are fun and engaging for the whole family!
What programs do you offer?
Harmony Homeschool Collective sponsors 1-2 social events and 1-2 field trips per month. We hope to grow our club selection in the next few months, as well as reintroduce our bi-weekly meetings! If you are interested in seeing our bi-weekly library meetings return, please participate as much as you can! And if you or your family are interested in partnering with HHC to host a club, you may do so here. A member of our administration team will partner with you to ensure your club’s success!
